Natina Reed Dead After Being Hit By Car
Natina Reed, who found stardom as an R&B singer in the 90s was struck by a car and killed in Atlanta this weekend at just 32-years-old. Normally celebrity deaths come to us with scandalous background stories–drugs, DUI, and sometimes even murder. But in this case, Reed was simply hit by a car. So what happened? Well, it seems that The driver won’t be charged, and was actually the person who called 911. From the looks of this one, it sounds like she somehow got in the way, either by crossing the street without looking, or for some other reason. The investigation is still underway, but again, the driver has so far been found to NOT be a fault. That leads me to believe that she could have even been jaywalking. It’s so very sad. You may also recognize her from the movie Bring It On, where she played a cheerleader. Sadly, she leaves a ten year old son behind, and a husband, who is actually a well known rapper named Kurupt. Joining in the Halloween fun at her son's school, Christina Aguilera visited 4-year-old Max for the festivities in Brentwood on Wednesday (October 31).
The "Voice" coach got into the spooky spirit with a Rocky Horror inspired t-shirt, leather jacket, black pants with skulls on them, and a pink knitted hat as she held a jack-o-lantern bucket.
Recently, the 31-year-old singer released a new fragrance called Red Sin. <P><a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/bieber_justin/artist.jhtml">Justin Bieber</a> will be featured on the cover of the August issue of <i>Rolling Stone,</i> and though he might be tired of all those <a href="/news/articles/1688037/justin-bieber-vs-justin-timberlake.jhtml">Justin Timberlake</a> comparisons, he might have set himself up for a few more.</P><P>The pop star retweeted the cover photo after a fan got her <i>RS</i> copy in the mail and <a href="http://twitpic.com/a8ghvj" target="_blank">tweeted</a> out a photo of it. He appeared on the magazine in <a href="/news/articles/1658289/justin-bieber-abortion-rolling-stone.jhtml">February 2011</a>, coincidentally also wearing a tank top but with a leather jacket over it. The accompanying interview spawned controversy after the magazine quoted Bieber as saying, "I really don't believe in abortion." They later released an editorial note clarifying that "an editing error" led to Bieber being misquoted by the magazine. Bites from this latest interview had yet to be released by press time.</P><P>Bieber's timing on the cover of the magazine lines up with several big events for the singer. Lady Gaga Lacks 'Maturity' On Next Album

<P><a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/lady_gaga/artist.jhtml">Lady Gaga</a> is slowly but surely revealing to fans what her next album will sound like. And she claims she isn't looking to sound more grown-up anytime soon.</P><P>During a concert stop in Perth, Australia, over the weekend, Gaga revealed some details about what the album, her follow-up to 2011's <i>Born This Way,</i> will sound like. Before launching into her new track "Princess Die," which may appear on the new album, she teased her Little Monsters a bit about the highly anticipated album release.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Lady Gaga Has The Title And Concept For Her Next Album" id="vid:717202" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>"It's not about you, it's about me. This whole thing is about me," she joked about <a href="http://newsroom.mtv.com/2012/06/27/lady-gaga-debuts-new-song-at-australian-concert-princess-die/">"Princess Die"</a> in footage posted on <a href="http://www.pressparty.com/pg/newsdesk/ladygaga/view/51012/" target="_blank">Press Party</a>. "Oh, the vanity of a singer. So I wrote this song and in a way it has a bit to do with the rest of the album ... well, I'm not gonna say anything.</P><P>"Let's just say I feel, I feel that when I wrote <i>Born This Way,</i> I demonstrated a sense of maturity," she said. "And I feel that, on the next album, there's a lack of maturity, it's a tremendous lack of maturity or sense of responsibility."</P><P>In addition to the new song and those minute details, Gaga shared with her fans that she will announce her album's title in September. It's an <a href="/news/articles/1686922/lady-gaga-new-album-title.jhtml">album title</a> she's actually had in mind for a very long while, sharing with MTV News back in December that she had already had picked it out.</P><P>"I've started writing it and I have the name for it and all the concepts are beginning to flourish and take place," she said. "I'm excited to put it out, but it's not done yet. So I'll put it out when it's done."</P><P>While Gaga is currently on her world tour, she is cooking up tracks for her new album's release while on the road. "I get a little bit of anxiety thinking about that right now. I wanna just always try to outdo ourselves, our songs. They're already incredible songs. But I feel like she's so young," her longtime producer Fernando Garibay said late last year, adding that at the time, the <a href="/news/articles/1675458/lady-gaga-next-album.jhtml">record was in its early stages</a> and that "there's a lot of room to grow."</P><P>"The last record we made in bus stops and hotel rooms," he said. "Wherever she's at, we'll make it."</p>

'Girl With The Dragon Tattoo' Track List Revealed

<P>You kind of can't go wrong when the soundtrack you've put together for one of the most eagerly anticipated literary adaptations in years kicks off <a href="/music/artist/yeah_yeah_yeahs/artist.jhtml">Yeah Yeah Yeahs</a> singer Karen O's take on <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/led_zeppelin/artist.jhtml">Led Zeppelin</a>'s "Immigrant Song."</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" id="vid:693384" width="240" height="211"></div><p></P><P>Fans heard the throbbing industrial take on the rock classic cooked up by former Nine Inch Nails mastermind and O when a trailer for the David Fincher-directed "Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" leaked back in May. And on Thursday, Oscar-winning industrial-rocker-turned-film composer Reznor and musical partner Atticus Ross unveiled the full track list for their "Tattoo" score album.</P><P>The follow-up to their award-winning "The Social Network" score was a labor of love, according to a <a href="http://nin.com/?id=102677" target="_blank">post</a> Reznor put up on the NIN site on Thursday announcing the disc. "For the last fourteen months Atticus and I have been hard at work on David Fincher's 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo,' " he wrote about the American version of the tale of pierced and punished hacker <a href="/news/articles/1655879/rooney-mara-dragon-tattoo.jhtml">Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara)</a> and her muckraking journalist compatriot <a href="/news/articles/1667542/daniel-craig-rooney-mara-girl-with-the-dragon-tattoo.jhtml">Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig)</a>. "We laughed, we cried, we lost our minds and in the process made some of the most beautiful and disturbing music of our careers. The result is a sprawling three-hour opus."</P><P>The album will be released on iTunes on December 9 in two versions. Right now, you can download the Karen O song on iTunes when you pre-order the 39-track album. Dimmu Borgir Release Live DVD; Plus Led Zeppelin, Brujeria, & More News That Rules, In Metal File
'It shows the intense live side of the band, as opposed to the perfection and the cleanness of how we sound on our albums,' guitarist says.

<P>On October 14, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/borgir_dimmu/artist.jhtml">Dimmu Borgir</a>Dimmu Borgir — who just happen to be <a href="/news/articles/1593780/demi-lovato-metalhead-metal-file.jhtml">Demi Lovato's favorite black-metal band</a> — will release a a three-disc DVD/CD set called "The Invaluable Darkness," the band's first visual offering since 2002's "World Misanthropy." Boasting live footage shot last year, during gigs in Norway, Germany and England, "The Invaluable Darkness" demonstrates the unbridled furor of seeing Dimmu live, guitarist Silenoz said.</P><P>"It shows the honest rawness and atmospheric darkness of our concerts," the Norwegian told <i>Metal File</i> last week, after <a href="/news/articles/1596201/this-moment-make-dream-reality-metal-file.jhtml">dismissing recent online rumors that his band's next LP would be coming out through Roadrunner Records</a>. "Basically, it shows the intense live side of the band, as opposed to the perfection and the cleanness of how we sound on our albums. It's just a different side to the band, basically."</P><P>Dimmu Borgir began thinking about "The Invaluable Darkness" two years ago, but didn't start capturing footage until last summer, Silenoz explained, adding that the band will use its current stint on the Blackest of the Black Tour — which got underway Thursday night in Miami Beach, Florida, and also features the tour's founder, Danzig, along with <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/moonspell/artist.jhtml">Moonspell</a>Moonspell, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/winds_of_plague/artist.jhtml">Winds of Plague</a>Winds of Plague and Skeletonwitch — to promote the DVD. Dimmu Borgir will not, however, use the tour to write material for their next LP.</P><P>"It's our first time on Blackest, but Glenn [Danzig] had wanted to bring us out before [on the tour], but we weren't available until now," Silenoz said. "We've done Ozzfest before, but we're looking forward to this tour more. We did the main stage on Ozzfest, playing in f--_ing broad daylight. This tour will let us play in bigger places, but at the same time showcase more of what the band's about, visually. We are going to concentrate on the tour for now. Some years ago, we tried putting [material] together on the road, but once we got home, we listened back to it, and were like, 'What the f--- <i>is</i> this?' So, we just scrapped it all. We find it's so much better to totally focus on one thing at a time, and then, when that's over, you move on to the next [thing]. We don't really feel like we need to rush things, anyway, so we'll just take our time, and it's going to be what it's going to be."</P><P>Dimmu Borgir hope to reconvene in late December to begin writing the follow-up to 2007's diabolically titled <i>In Sorte Diaboli.</i> "We have some ideas floating around already, but we haven't arranged any material yet," he said. "We'll start doing that once the touring for this DVD is over." The band's frontman, Shagrath, is also due to marry soon — he's engaged to actor Nicolas Cage's ex-girlfriend, Christina Fulton, so that may have an effect on when Dimmu finish their next album, which Silenoz said could be out this coming spring.</P><P>"I'm sure [Shagrath] won't let anything get in the way [of] the band — I think, I hope," the guitarist said. "We don't need a Yoko [Ono] situation."</P><P>While Dimmu have been at it going on 15 years now, Silenoz said he doesn't think their forthcoming material will be much of a departure from their previous black-metal offerings.</P><P>"And we have always been about more than just that term, 'black metal,' " he said. "Luckily for us, the older you get, the less concerned you get with the categorization and putting labels on your music. Things start getting more and more limitless with us, and we know that we operate within certain frames. But we try not to analyze things too much, because it's just going to be working against you in the end. When we write new stuff, we don't think about what we should write — we just get together, and put material together, and if we like it, we keep it. As Dimmu has gotten on in years, Silenoz admits they have failed to keep pace with some of the more extreme black-metal acts that have followed in their wake.</P><P>"We helped open doors for the more extreme bands out there," Silenoz said. "I'm sure we helped open doors for bands like Watain, [insomuch as] people that had maybe started listening to us first then went on to the more extreme stuff. Ke$ha Previews 'Supernatural' New Track
Producer Dr. Luke unveils a snippet of a song from her upcoming album.

<P>It's not exactly <a href="/news/articles/1663946/kesha-new-album.jhtml">"balls-out irreverent rock and roll"</a> — quite the opposite, in fact — but with one 40-second snippet, Ke$ha is serving notice that her new album is most definitely going to be a departure.</P><P>On Wednesday (June 6), frequent Ke$h collaborator Dr. Luke gave fans <a href="http://soundcloud.com/drluke/snippet-super" target="_blank">a sneak peek</a> at a song from her long-in-the-works new album, an all-too-brief preview that features her cooing about a lover's prowess — "When you take my body to the stars/ I believe it/ Boy, this love is supernatural/ Can you feel it?" over a bed of shimmering synths and knotty bass that gradually builds to a twisting, rapidly contrasting electronic break.</P><P><iframe width="100%" height="166" scrolling="no" frameborder="no" src="http://w.soundcloud.com/player/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F48805816&auto_play=false&show_artwork=true&color=ff7700"></iframe></P><P>It's the kind of high-gloss production she largely avoided on her breakthrough <a href="/news/articles/1629566/keha-partying-pop-genius-weve-all-been-waiting.jhtml"><i>Animal</i></a> album, and while we certainly can't figure out how the track fits in with her <i>other</i> collaborations (she's reportedly worked with everyone from <a href="/news/articles/1685827/kesha-flaming-lips-tattoo.jhtml">Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne</a> to Iggy Pop on the still-untitled new album), the new track certainly showcases her maturation. And thanks to Ke$h herself, at least we know what the new track is about: having sex with ghosts.</P><P>Yes, just hours after Dr. Luke leaked the snippet, Ke$ha took to her Twitter account to mock-chastise her producer, <a href="https://twitter.com/keshasuxx/status/210428157554196480" target="_blank">writing</a>: "You leaked my song about me having sexy time with a ghost, @thedoctorluke," she wrote. "Now everyone knows I get it on with ghosts!"</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Ke$ha Says New Album Will Be ' Balls-Out, Irreverent Rock'" id="vid: 652875" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>Somehow, that doesn't surprise us. There's still no firm release date for Ke$ha's new album, which she began working on in February. But, from the sound of one snippet, at least, it sounds like things are progressing quickly. Ashley Tisdale Honored at Hollywood's New Leaders Awards
Though she may be best known for "High School Musical," Ashley Tisdale was honored at Variety's Hollywood's New Leaders 2012 awards in West Hollywood on Monday night (October 29).
The 27-year-old star accepted the award with business partner Jessica Rhoades, who joins her with their production company, Blondie Girl.
According to Variety, "Whether it's the ability to shepherd a new show thorugh the labyrinths of the studio or network systems all the way to greenlight status, or to find investors for a project, the rising generation needs to be able to deal with creative types as well as moneymen and get them to speak the same language even though the world around them rapidly changes. Variety presents this year's list of Hollywood's New Leaders, the men and women who will be steering this industry in the years ahead."
Sharing the evening with Twitter followers, Ashley retweeted Jessica's photo of the two with the comment, "Toasting to variety's New Leaders with @ashleytisdale. Such a fun night with fantastic people."

Disney Acquires Lucasfilm; New Star Wars Trilogy to Begin in 2015
In a huge $4.05 billion purchase, The Walt Disney Company has announced that it will be acquiring Lucasfilm and is planning to release Star Wars Episode 7 in 2015.
The new movie will be the first of a new trilogy, with a new film coming out every other year. According to CEO of Disney, Robert A. Iger, "Lucasfilm reflects the extraordinary passion, vision, and storytelling of its founder, George Lucas. This transaction combines a world-class portfolio of content including Star Wars, one of the greatest family entertainment franchises of all time, with Disney's unique and unparalleled creativity across multiple platforms, businesses, and markets to generate sustained growth and drive significant long-term value."
As for Star Wars' creator George Lucas, he admits, "For the past 35 years, one of my greatest pleasures has been to see Star Wars passed from one generation to the next. It's now time for me to pass Star Wars on to a new generation of filmmakers."
The acquisition of Lucasfilm follows Disney's recent successful purchases of Pixar and Marvel.

"Skyfall" Continues European Conquest with German Premiere
Taking the latest Bond flick to Deutschland, Daniel Craig and castmates attended the Germany premiere of "Skyfall" on Tuesday (October 30).
Sporting a dashing well-tailored black suit and skinny black tie, 007 himself was joined at the event by Bond girl Berenice Marlohe, who stunned in a sultry black one-shoulder gown.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, the 23rd Bond film has already surpassed its previous two installments in foreign markets.
The film earned $32.4 million in the U.K., a 30% increase from the opening of "Quantum of Solace" in 2008 and the second-biggest opening ever for the country, behind only "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2."

Even before he took the stage, his fans were really excited for him, cheering and screaming in anticipation. In addition to winning four surfboards, he gave fans a crunchier version of his single "Boyfriend."</P><P>Dressed up in silver and black, Bieber took the stage in a futuristic setting, surrounded by dancers in silver bodysuits. But he didn't play much of "Boyfriend": The focus was on his new single, "As Long as You Love Me." Bieber popped and locked his way through the performance, and he was joined midway by rapper Big Sean, who only upped the swag factor.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Justin Bieber And Big Sean Get Down At Teen Choice Awards" id="vid:817411.id:1690172" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>Bieber's manager Scooter Braun has made it clear that Bieber has been hitting the <a href="/news/articles/1688265/justin-bieber-after-believe.jhtml">dance studio hard for his <i>Believe</i> Tour</a>, kicking off in September, and those skills were on full display Sunday night (July 22).</P><P>During his eye-popping performance, the camera cut to a smiling Selena Gomez in the audience, who later looked a bit emotional when Bieber gave his acceptance speech. His four prizes this year bring his TCA surfboard count to a whopping 12.</P><P>"Thank you so much to all my fans," he said immediately following his performance and barely able to catch his breath after all the dancing. "I just want to say this album has meant the world to me, and I hope that it was everything you guys waited for. This is just a reminder to everyone in here: Believe."</P><P>"As Long as You Love Me" is the second single from Bieber's June album release. He recently shared that he would be dropping the <a href="/news/articles/1689686/justin-bieber-bloody-as-long-as-you-love-me-video.jhtml">video for the track</a>, directed by Anthony Mandler.
