Queen Elizabeth will be celebrating her Diamond Jubilee as the reigning monarch of the United Kingdom and this Sunday, BBC America will be offering throne-to-throne coverage all day. Yes, calling all Anglophiles! You know who you are! Those of us who simply cannot get enough of our favorite Royals will be in heaven this weekend. America may no longer be a colony of the British, but we still turn to them for guidance. Now we know why Prince William loves her so! There was a time when women who would venture into public with bare legs were considered tramps, or impoverished at the very least.
